Information about Mystery Picture Activities

Activity

Mystery pictures are the perfect way to get your students excited about grammar! Your students will practice important grammar skills as they answer questions and color their way to a surprise picture. These no-prep activities are perfect for review, early finishers, sub plans, or those days when you need something easy but meaningful for your students.

Details

• There is a skills sheet attached to each coloring sheet.

• Students will read each question and choose the correct answer.

• Then, students will locate the numbers on the coloring sheet associated with the question and color them based on their answer.

• For example, if the answer to #1 is green, then the student will color all the #1s on the coloring sheet green!

Reviews from Teachers

"My students enjoyed doing this activity. We were able to take a "break" as they called it, but the break was educational."

-Nicole ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I used this as a review of grammar at the beginning of the year. The students were able to self check their answer with the picture they colored. The multiple choice format gave support to those who may not have been exposed to grammar lessons before."

-Debra ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Love color by numbers as they review what the students have learned or should already have prior knowledge. Loved using these to gauge where my students are."
